ShipTime’s Quote & Ship tool simplifies your shipping workflow—from entering addresses to selecting services and finalizing your shipment. Here’s how to navigate each stage:


Address Details Stage

Change Shipping From Address: Update your origin address if needed.

Change Shipping To/Shipment Destination Address: Set your recipient's address.

Recipient Details Options:

  • Residential Address Checkbox: Identify residential deliveries to avoid carrier adjustment fees.

  • Confirm Delivery: Send a confirmation email to your email address when delivery occurs.

  • Notify Recipient: Automatically send tracking information to the recipient's email.

  • Save to Address Book: Save recipient information for future shipments.
    Select Shipment Date: Schedule when the shipment should occur.

Dimensions Page

Shipment Progress Bar: Shows which step you’re on and allows navigation back to previous steps.

Package Type Selection: Choose the type of package you are shipping.

Measurement Units Selection:

  • Metric: kg/cm

  • Imperial: lbs/in

Box Library: Quickly select a saved box from your Settings > Boxes.

Item Package Buttons:

  • Copy: Duplicate an item within the quote.

  • Delete: Remove an item from the quote.

  • Add Items: Add additional packages to your shipment.

Special Handling Checkbox: Mark oversized or irregular packages (e.g., car tires).

Signature Required: Request a delivery signature (note: during COVID-19, signature requirements may vary).

Proceed Options:

  • Insta Ship: Automatically selects the least expensive service and proceeds.

  • Choose Carrier: Manually choose your carrier and service level.

Carrier Selection Page

Shipment Progress Bar: Track your progress.

Service Rating: View customer-reported ratings for each carrier service.

Details Tool Tip: See a breakdown of service charges.

Service Selection Options:

  • Select: Choose the carrier and service you want.

  • Save Quote: Save your quote with address details and carrier selection under Saved Quotes.


Pickup/Drop-off Page

Pickup/Drop-off Selection:

  • Pickup: Schedule a courier pickup with selectable date and time options. (Note: Canpar only allows day selection, not specific time.)

  • Drop-off: Find the nearest authorized carrier drop-off location using the provided link.

Special Instructions Box: Add any specific pickup or delivery instructions for the courier.


Finalize Payments Page

Shipment Progress Bar: Final step before completing your shipment.

Payment Method Selection: Choose your saved payment method or add a new one.

Edit Shipment Details: Return to update shipping package information.

Rate and Pickups Options:

  • Edit Rate: Return to carrier selection to change service.

  • Edit Pickup: Return to pickup/drop-off selection.

Promo Code Field: Enter and apply any available promo codes for discounts.

Proceed to Pay Button: Complete your payment to receive and print your shipping label.
