Custom boxes in ShipTime allow you to create predefined packaging sizes for both Quote & Ship orders and eCommerce orders. This feature helps improve shipping accuracy and ensures your packages are correctly sized for optimal shipping rates.
How to Add Custom Boxes in ShipTime
Log in to Your ShipTime Account:
Visit ShipTime Login and enter your credentials.
Go to Box Settings:
In the upper right-hand corner, click Settings → Boxes.
Add a New Custom Box:
On the right-hand side, click Add Box.
Enter the Box Name and Dimensions (Length, Width, Height).
Click Save to store your custom box.
Enter in the box Name, Dimensions, and then click on Save.
Using Custom Boxes for eCommerce Orders
For eCommerce stores using Live Rates, ShipTime can automatically box items together based on predefined custom boxes.
To enable automatic packaging, toggle the option to quote shipping rates based on Packaged Items instead of Individual Items.
If no predefined custom box is available for an order, you can add a new custom box directly in the order screen.
