Measuring your shipment correctly is a very important step of the shipping process. Not only does this inform the couriers of what kind of truck needs to pickup the shipment, couriers will charge fees for incorrectly inputting the measurements of the shipment.
It is important to use an accurate tape measure when measuring the package. Make sure to measure a few times to ensure accurate measurements
Please also ensure to measure from the widest point on the package. The couriers will use this as the measurement when it is measured at one of the couriers facilities.
For any measurement that isn't a whole number, (e.g. 16.5 inches or 54.2 cm) please make sure to round this measurement UP to the next whole number. This ensures the shipment will not have an added fee for incorrect measurements tacked on by the couriers .
