From October 15, 2023 through January 15, 2024, a Peak-Season surcharge will apply to all Loomis parcels requiring special handling or delivered to a residential/low commercial density area.

Surcharge Descriptions:
Non - Conveyable: Applicable to any article or item absent of proper packaging due to their nature (e.g. size, shape, contents) including pails, containers, tires, ball bearings, nuts, bolts and fasteners, liquids, wooden or metal crates and non-conveyable items.
Oversized: Applicable to any package where a single dimension exceeds 48 inches (122 cm) in length.
Overweight: Applicable to any package or article greater than 70lbs (32 kgs) in actual weight.
Large Package Surcharge: Applicable to any package where the length and girth exceeds 130” (330cm) or single dimension exceeds 96” inches (244 cm) in length.
Length is defined as the longest side of the package. Girth is the distance around the two smallest sides of a package or object. Girth = 2(W+H)
OverMax Size or Weight: Applicable to any package that exceeds any one of the following size limitations;
• Any single side that is over 108” (274cm) in length
• Actual weight is over 150lbs (68 kgs)

Residential Peak Season Surcharge – Effective November 11, 2023
Effective November 11, 2023, to January 15, 2024, a residential peak surcharge of $1.00 per shipment will apply to customers that ship more than 10,000 weekly shipments. This will only apply to volume that surpasses 200% of their weekly average, as measured between June 2, 2023, to June 30, and where expressed written consent was not provided by Loomis Express. The Residential Peak Surcharge will apply to all residential shipments as determined by Loomis Express in its sole discretion.
