ShipTime allows you to Bring Your Own Rates (BYOR), enabling you to use your own direct courier account numbers and still utilize our cutting-edge technology platform.
Here is info to assist you in obtaining your FedEx API Credentials to use your own FedEx shipping rates.
How to obtain your FedEx API credentials
- Navigate to https://developer.fedex.com/
(You will need to select Location and Language) - Click the "Sign Up" or "Log In" link.
(If you don't already have a FedEx.com username and password click SIGN UP at the bottom of the login box and follow the registration instructions. Once complete, proceed with the log-in steps below)
- Log in.
- Click MY PROJECTS on the left-hand side.
- Click CREATE API PROJECT.
- Select the option "Ships with FedEx and is using a third-party software solution that has requested API keys". Click NEXT
- Fill in the fields for third-party solutions:
- Type in "ShipTime" in the field for "Third-Party Company".
- Type in "ShipTime" in the field for "Third-Party Product".
- Type in "shiptime.com" in the field for "Third-Party Product Website".
Click CONTINUE
- Click SELECT under the category "Ship, Rate & other APIs".
- Click the checkboxes for all 13 APIs.
Click NEXT
- Type "ShipTime" in the field for "Project name" and select the appropriate countries from the "Country/Territory" dropdown (Canada and the United States).
Click NEXT
- Click both checkboxes in the "Accept Terms" section and click CREATE.
- Click OKAY.
- Email techsupport@shiptime.com and provide the Test Keys (API Key and Secret Key).
- ShipTime Technical Support will then process some test labels and provide you with the instructions for submitting labels for certification and obtaining Production API Keys.
- Once the certification is completed ShipTime Technical Support will confirm that you can go ahead and connect your account. We recommend running a test quote once you have completed your registration and if you have any issues displaying FedEx rates contact support for assistance.
